The Church Treasurer; the Circuit Treasurer; Property officer; Property assistants for worshipping communities; possibly finance assistants for each worshipping community.
What is it for?
To report and advise on the Vale of Mowbray Methodist Church’s finances and assessment.
Ensure all the properties in the Vale of Mowbray Methodist Church are well maintained.
To help and advise worshipping communities with any issues they may have regarding their buildings.
PASTORAL CARE FORUM
Who is it for?
The Pastoral secretary; Lay workers who have pastoral oversight as part of their role; The Pastoral Care Teams from across the worshipping communities. The Vale of Mowbray Methodist Church Safe Guarding officer.
What is it for?
To support worshipping communities in their ongoing pastoral care.
To work with the Vale of Mowbray Methodist Church’s Safeguarding Officer to ensure all safeguarding policies and good practices are followed.
SAFEGUARDING FORUM
Who is it for?
Circuit Safeguarding Officer; Vale of Mowbray Methodist Church Safeguarding officer; Safeguarding advocate from each of the worshipping communities.
What is it for?
To write safeguarding policies for the Vale of Mowbray Methodist Church and worshipping communities.
To ensure safer recruitment, job descriptions, training and DBS’s are all appropriate and up to date.
MISSION AND OUTREACH FORUM
Who is it for?
The Mission and Outreach co-ordinator(s); Lay staff employed in missional roles; People from worshipping communities who have a heart for missional engagement,
What is it for?
To focus on making Jesus known to those currently outside of our church family.
To work with Lay staff to look for New Places for New People.
To help worshipping communities missionally engage with their local communities.
