Is just a short walk from the centre of Thirsk. The building has been extended and altered over the years to provide a more modern flexible worship space. There are very strong ecumenical links with St Oswald’s Church just a hundred yards away.

Tuesday Fellowship
The Tuesday Friends group meet at Sowerby every Tuesday, except the third Tuesday of the month when it is Movie Tuesday.
Usually there is a speaker. Recently they found themselves making a table decoration using a recycled glass GU or Lidl pudding pot, greenery and a single rose. They were all extremely pleased with their finished result and were surprised how calm the activity had made them feel. They all said how enjoyable the afternoon had been.
