UPDATE AUTUMN 2026
In recent years, the focus has been on money raising for the Circuit Project or other charities.
From September , the focus will change, both in composition and purpose of the group and the focus going forward will be on:
FUND RAISING – for Methodist Charities and the Circuit Project.
EDUCATION – To help become aware of issues faced by the Word Wide Church.
PRAYER – The annual Methodist Prayer Handbook is an invaluable source of encouragement and information.
MEMBERSHIP – A representative from each Local worshipping community and St James Green Methodist Church with core Methodist charities ( Action for Children; JMA; World Church fund; All We Can; ; MHA). Representatives from ecumenical organisations central to our concerns (Christian Aid; One Northallerton – One Planet) and any other organisation as appropriate.
The Circuit Missions Project for 2025/26
So far this year, the Circuit Missions Project has raised £2542 for the Living Rooms. This does not include the amount raised at the launch event last autumn or Gift Aid.

The Living Rooms is supported by the five main Christian churches in Northallerton and is a faith based but not faith biased organisation working to provide support for good mental and emotional wellbeing for all. It promotes social inclusion and seeks to prevent social exclusion in Northallerton and surrounding communities.
